Ive spent a year of my life exploring, researching, documenting and investigating the mysterious deaths of Gregory Hart and, later, Sunil Tripathi and trying like hell to understand simply WHY the deaths occured…

image

no matter if they were, or even are, related to “foul play” or not.

image

And, in this pursuit, many times i have wished RIP to Greg Hart…here, in my writings, and in the quiet of my own mind.

image

But, a year into this entire investigation…

image

i have finally realized that, in actuality, i don’t feel there is any more reason to do so…

image

and i do not mean that in a cruel or dispasssionate way.

image

i say this is because i absolutely now feel there is no need to wish “rest” for the late Greg Hart…

image

And why do i feel this way…?

image

Because, frankly…

image

Greg Hart is, in my opinion and experience –

image

no more.

image

Ans Greg Hart is now –

nowhere.

image

No ghost.

No ‘afterlife’…

image

Greg Hart is simply –

Gone.

“…The drainage tunnels near where Abel Bolanos died in March 2007 contain several distinct graffiti tags, including two “Smiley Faces,” in a monkey’s nose and in the letter “D,” but nothing about the symbols was overtly referential to Bolanos or any of the other drownings…

image

A group of retired detectives and academics who have suggested that 40 drowning deaths in 11 states are the work of a group of serial killers had previously been in Ames investigating the death of Abel Bolanos.

Bolanos drowned in March 2007 in Lake LaVerne on the Iowa State University campus.

Reports say Bolanos was last seen at a party on North Hyland Avenue on March 31, which he left at 4 a.m.

He was found April 3 by a dive team after a three-day search.

It’s unknown whether Bolanos is one of the 40 names on the list of supposed drownings the group claims are “clearly homicides and linked to each other,” according to a press release. However, according to ISU’s Department of Public Safety Police Division, the same group was in town a few weeks ago to speak with a patrol supervisor about the case, which one of them last year told The Tribune fit the profile of the supposed serial killings.

Local police and county officials have rejected the idea Bolanos’ death was anything but an accidental drowning and say the group has never spoken to the local investigator in charge of the case or seen any of the primary investigative materials collected by police.

On Monday, the group, “Nationwide Investigations,” appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and held a press conference in New York City with several of the victim’s families, asking for help from the FBI to investigate the suspected murders.

The group’s theory is that a gang of organized killers murder college-aged men and stage drownings to avoid capture. The group recently announced it believes the alleged gang leaves graffiti tags near the locations of the bodies, often a “Smiley Face” insignia.

The drainage tunnels near where Bolanos died contain several distinct graffiti tags, including two “Smiley Faces,” but nothing about the symbols was overtly referential to Bolanos or any of the other drownings.

Following the Nationwide Investigations media appearances this week, the FBI issued a press release saying its investigators had reviewed the evidence presented by the group and not found anything connecting the deaths or indicating the involvement of a serial killer or killers.

Nationwide Investigations is made up of two former New York Police Department detectives, Kevin Gannon and Anthony Duarte; a professor from St. Cloud State University, Lee Gilbertson; and a graduate student from the same college, Adam Carlson.

The group has claimed to have uncovered evidence connecting 40 alleged accidental drownings in 11 states. It reportedly has asked the FBI to investigate the matter.

Bolanos is thought to have drowned while highly intoxicated – a trait the group says is common among all the victims.

Abel Bolanos’ sister, Marivelle Bolanos, said she has never spoken to any of the investigators but has heard about the story on television. However, the family does believe there are unanswered questions related to Abel Bolanos’ death and has offered a reward for information about the case.

Marivelle Bolanos said she plans to contact the investigators in the future and would like to donate money to their investigation.

News reports mentioned that the group had “run out of money,” after financing the investigation itself.

“I was just making notes yesterday of the things we still have questions on,” she said. “We are not 100 percent sure of what happened.”

From a police perspective, however, the case has been closed on Bolanos’ death. Gene Deisinger, the ISU police captain who acted as the case agent in charge of investigating the incident, said the evidence in the case points firmly to an accidental drowning, a conclusion based upon the results of the state medical examiner’s investigation.

“You always have to be driven by the evidence in a case like this, and it was the observation of those of us in investigations that worked the case that there was nothing about the situation or Abel’s body that indicated that he died as a result of an intentional attack,” Deisinger said.

“I cannot say that he was not assaulted. I can only say that there was no evidence to indicate that he was assaulted.”

Moreover, Deisinger said, if the group had investigated Bolanos’ death, it had done so without speaking to him or reviewing any of the primary investigation materials. And if it had uncovered any gang signs or tags connecting Bolanos’ death to the others, it hadn’t shared them with police.

Story County Attorney Stephen Holmes said he also was aware of the group’s theory and had heard it as connected to Bolanos’ death, but had dismissed it as nothing more than a stretch for sensationalism’s sake.

“I think it’s terrible to tout this kind of thing,” he said. “To me, this is junk science or sensationalism. It’s not real police work.”

A Tribune reporter accompanied the group around Ames last summer was it knocked on doors, walked the path around Lake LaVerne and even entered a drainage pipe to look for strange tags or symbols.

At the time, Gilbertson was quoted as saying Bolanos was a perfect fit for the profile of a victim of the alleged serial killer group.

According to Tribune reports, the two detectives spent more than an hour in the drainage tunnels near Lake LaVerne searching for tags.

Phone calls and e-mail messages to the group this week have not been returned.

So…

Greg and Sunil…

image

These two boys, who most probably never, in life knew of eachother, are now entwined as one unified cog in the wheel of arcane ritualz, thousands of years in the making…

image

Ritualz…

image

Greg Hart did not choose to partake in.

Ritualz, for which, Greg Hart was – however –

chosen.

image

For instance, take the name – Greg “Hart”.

A “Hart” is a nocturnal deer.

Again, highly symbolic.

In certain circles, that is.

To some…

“The Stag: is a symbol of ‘The Harvest’.

which runs september to april

MABON is the season in which the harvest is being gathered. It’s also the time in which the hunt often begins — deer and other animals are killed during the autumn in many parts of the world.

In some Pagan and Wiccan traditions, the deer is highly symbolic, and takes on many aspects of the God during the harvest season….”

Not to mention –

“The White Stag”.

image

“…The white stag is a familiar creature of myth and legend. Its origins are likely in the totemic period of early Indo-European society, particularly the northern societies of the Celts and pre-Indo-European cultures, whose subsistence was gained not only through agriculture, but through hunting. This dependence on deer may be seen in the zoomorphic Celtic god Cernunnos, depicted as being a man with the antlers of a deer.

The white stag in Celtic myth is an indicator that the Otherworld is near.

It appears when one is transgressing a taboo –

such as when Pwyll tresspassed into Arawn’s hunting grounds,
or when Peredur entered the Castle of Wonders in his second adventure at the house of the Lame King.

It also appears as an impetus to quest–the white stag or hart often appears in the forests around King Arthur’s court, sending the knights off on to adventure against gods and fairies. (C. S. Lewis uses this device at both the beginning and end of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

It also appears in French romance and lais as a similar indicator, such as in the lais of Marie de France, when Guigemar happens upon the strange sight of a white doe with antlers. He wounds the strange, hermaphroditic–note that word–animal, which curses him to grow up and fall in love. It is also an important element of Hungarian mythology, which believed that a great white stag led the brothers Hunor and Magar to settle in Scythia.

Thus were established the Huns and Magyars.

To Christians, the white stag came to symbolize Christ, perhaps in part inspired by the St. Eustace legend, wherein the Roman soldier Eustace is hunting, and happens upon a deer with a cross between his antlers. Eustace converts on the spot, and is put through numerous tragedies, persecutions, etc., including the death of his family, until being miraculously reunited with them. However, it is clear that this pious legend has pagan predecessors.

It is also worth noting that in Christian iconography, the unicorn is a symbol for Christ.

There is a close identification between the white stag and the unicorn, and it can be reasoned that the white stag is the equivalent of the unicorn in these northern cultures, which do not record the existence of unicorns.

The white hart also was the heraldic symbol of England’s King Richard II.

The first thing to examine is the color: white is a symbol of purity, while also a symbol of otherworldliness. The white stag in Pwyll penduc Dyfed has a white body with red ears–the typical colors of otherworld creatures (the hounds of Arawn are also this color).

It is also associated with the sun; in Christian iconography, the stag appears with the sun between its horns. Earlier gods associated with the stag were also nature deities: Cernunnos, Fionn, Gwynn ap Nudd. Santa Claus–that half-memory of Odin/Thor–is drawn by eight reindeer–who may or may not be white. (If they live at the North Pole, they most likely are 😉 The deer, finally, was a source of life, an important resource for early man. Ultimately, the white stag is not only a creature of the gods, but is a god himself, symbolizing the creative life force of the universe–sex, life, and also death…”

the mysterious grafitti tag: ‘ANOK2’

image

“Akkadian – ‘ANOK’

“Fire and smoke poured from the mountain and the earth shook…

The entire Community of Israel stood together in awe at the foot of Sinai as the Divine Presence thrust them into profound revelation.

The thunder of awakening surged through each heart and mind as a transcendent voice spoke out: Anochi Ha-Shem Elokecha.

The literal translation of this thunder is:

“I am The Name, your God”

Whereas the people of Israel received this realization in an explosive flash, we can receive this truth gradually by unpacking and contemplating the mystic teachings in these three words: Anochi is the Divine ‘I’ —

a description of the Divine Self.

Hashem – as in “The Name” refers to God’s attribute of Infinity, that is ‘beyond’ and transcendent. Elokecha, (also called Elokim,) is a plural term, referring to the Divinity that interfaces with the finite world of multiplicity: meaning, “your personal G-d.”

The limited human ego / ‘I’ is called ani—composed of the Hebrew letters aleph, nun, and yud. When these letters are rearranged to aleph, yud, nun they spell ayin, meaning “nothing” or emptiness.

We refer to the Infinite as ayin because from the perspective
of finite, Infinity is intangible, it is no-thing, empty of “things” , conversely, from the perspective of the Infinite, the finite is nothing—the ego does not exist.

The Infinite and finite are thus in perpetual
tension and conflict.

The word anochi, as in the Divine “I” consists of the word ani, plus the letter kuf- symbolic of word kester meaning the Crown, the Ultimate.

When the letters of anochi are rearranged, they spell k’ani, meaning “like an ani” or, “like an ‘I’.” Anochi, the Ultimate “I” is like the ego ‘I’. The Ultimate “I” is not elided with our personal self, yet “Anochi” invites us to extend the metaphor of “personal self” to its fullest expression as a part of the Ultimate Divine Self.

Anochi is a synonym for etzem or atzmus, meaning “Essence”—the ultimate context and totality of Reality. Essence is no-thing and every-thing, and yet it is neither nothing nor everything. Descriptive names do not apply to atzmus because even the concept of “Infinity” is, by definition, a limitation. Although Essence is beyond the finite and the Infinite, it also embraces and constitutes both of them.

For this reason, Essence holds the key to resolving the existential tension between the finite and the Infinite. The “I” of Anochi is not only the I of existence, manifestation or form, it is also the “I” of thing, and the “I” of no-thing, the “I” of finite and the “I” of infinite, the “I” of fullness and the “I” of emptiness.

As the ancients received the revelation of Anochi, they experienced their own limited human existence and the unlimited Divine Existence in the absence of conflict. In this revelation, there was no duality, only Unity. Nothing exists outside of Essence, thus Essence cannot be “experienced” ― self – consciousness distances the mind and self from the experience itself.

Together, Every- thing and No-thing become a metaphor of Essence; Essence alone is not a metaphor. Every gate is a gate to Essence, and every practice is a practice of Essence. And yet, there are no gates, no practices to reach Essence. We cannot become that which we already are.

The process may be simply a matter of revelation.” also…

THREE WERE DROWNED

Two Girls Lose Their Lives Trying to Save a Brother.

A terrible case of accidental drowning occurred one mile and a half above Anoka, Minn., on the Rum River. The following are the victims:

MISS LIZZIE MURPHY and MISS NELLIE MAHONEY and the latter’s brother, JOHNNIE MAHONEY, aged respectively twenty, seventeen and eleven.

They were in bathing and the little boy got beyond his depth. In trying to save him the girls went under, and they were all drowned together.

“The site which is now Anoka was first settled by immigrants in 1844. By the mid-1850s Anoka had grown to include a school, a store and a flour mill.

In 1856, C. C. Andrews described Anoka as a “large and handsome village” and noted that pine logs were floated down the Rum River to sawmills there.

The city was formally incorporated in 1878. The name Anoka was derived from two Indian words. The native Dakota used A-NO-KA-TAN-HAN, meaning “on both sides”, or “from both sides”, referring to its location on the banks of the Rum River.

The native Ojibwa used ON-O-KAY, meaning “working waters”…

Back to the EAGLE:

The eagle may generally be interpreted as a symbol of vitality or even “the Resurrection”. This is based upon the early belief that the eagle, unlike other birds, periodically renewed its plumage and its youthful vigor by flying near the sun and then plunging into the water. This interpretation is further borne out by Psalm 103:5:

‘…thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s…’

The eagle is also used to represent the new life begun at the baptismal font and the Christian soul strengthened by grace. ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles . . .’ [Isaiah 40:31].

The eagle is said to have the ability to soar until it is lost to sight, and still retain its ability to gaze into the blazing midday sun. For this reason, it has come to symbolize Christ.

In a more general sense, it symbolizes those who are just; or stands for the virtues of courage, faith, and contemplation. More rarely, when it is depicted as a bird of prey, the eagle suggests the demon who ravishes souls, or the sins of pride and worldly power. The eagle also symbolizes generosity.

It was believed that the eagle, no matter how great its hunger, always left half its prey to the birds that followed. The eagle is the particular attribute of St. John the Evangelist.

The vision of Ezekiel 1:5, 10:

“. . . out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. ..as for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion . . . the face of an ox . . . the face of an eagle,”

This is interpreted as referring to the four evangelists.

Because St. John, in his Gospel, soared upward in his contemplation of the Divine nature of the Saviour, the eagle became his symbol.

In a more general sense, the eagle came to represent the inspiration of the Gospels.

It is from this symbolic interpretation that the lectern, from which the Gospels are read, is often given the form of a winged eagle…”

bible:

http://www.answering-christianity.com/abdullah_smith/jesus_broke_the_law.htm

“The Gospels show Jesus breaking the laws of the Torah. According to Matthew and Mark, Jesus said that all foods are clean, but the Jewish Law clearly prohibits the consumption of pork!

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. (Matthew 15:11)
“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him ‘unclean’? For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”) He went on: “What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean.’ (Mark 7:18-20)

Notice how the deceptive editors placed a note (in brackets) claiming that Jesus made all foods clean. This is clearly false, and Jesus never uttered these words. The Gospels were written under the influence of Paul, who rejected the Jewish Law (Hebrews 5:13, Galatians 3:13)

The Gentile writers fabricated these words to make Jesus say that all foods are clean, thus supporting the Pauline doctrine. According to Matthew 5:17-20, 23:23, Jesus came to preach the Jewish Law, and what does the Jewish Law say about eating pork?

And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he [is] unclean to you.
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they [are] unclean to you. (Leviticus 11:7-8)

And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it [is] unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
These ye shall eat of all that [are] in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: (Deu 14:8-9)

The Bible prohibits the eating of pork. Jesus never made permissible the consumption of ‘all’ foods, it was a Pauline innovation by the Gospel writers.

The Gnostic leader Marcion (d 140 CE) said that Jewish scribes were corrupting the Gospels by adding Jewish material into them. This proves that the four Gospels were originally composed by Gentile (pagan) writers.

Jesus only ate kosher meat and was forbidden to eat pig’s flesh.

Jesus said that he had come to uphold the law and not to destroy it one jot or one tithe. Jesus was educated in the synagogue in Jerusalem from the age of twelve. He preached in the synagogue. He used to keep the synagogue clean. No Christian today can be found performing these actions. How many Christians have been even been circumcised in the manner that Jesus was? The services now held in today’s churches were developed long after Jesus had disappeared. Many of them come directly from the pagan Graeco-Roman mythological rites. The prayers they use are not the prayers which Jesus made. The hymns they sing are not the praises which Jesus sung. Due to the innovations of Paul and his followers, there is no revealed teaching left as to what to eat and what not to eat. Anyone given a “Christian education” today eats what he feels like. Yet Jesus and his true followers only ate kosher meat and were forbidden to eat pig’s flesh”. (Jesus, Prophet of Islam, 1992 edition, p. 199-200)

The Gospels imply that eating pork is forbidden, since Jesus murdered over 2,000 pigs by drowning them in the sea, and he will destroy the pigs on his Second Coming.

And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters. (Matthew 8:32, Mark 5:13)…”

“black swine”

A once-nomadic people who originated in India and often refer to themselves as Roma, Gypsies have long occupied the bottom of Europe’s social scale. Enslaved in the Middle Ages and gassed by the Nazis during World War II, they are suffering a new wave of violence and discrimination. Since 1989, skinheads and their sympathizers have killed at least 38 Gypsies in the Czech Republic.

In a particularly egregious case on the night of Feb. 15, two skinheads attacked Helen Bihariovo, 26, a Roma mother of four, in the mountain town of Vrchlabi. They threw her into a river swollen with melting snow, shouting, “Let’s make the black swine swim.”

A neighbor, journalist Eliska Pilarova, heard Bihariovo’s cries and tried to save her. But Bihariovo slipped from Pilarova’s grasp as the women shot through a deep mill sluice. Her body was found two days later, more than a mile downstream.

“She was a very good-looking girl, like a doll. She was of course a pickpocket, but I will not judge it,” says Pilarova, 48, who was injured in the rescue attempt. “But the response from the public has been: ‘Well, it’s one pickpocket less.’ ”

“Easter is a day that is honered by nearly all of contemporary Christianity and is used to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The holiday often involves a church service at sunrise, a feast which includes an “Easter Ham”, decorated eggs and stories about rabbits.

Those who love truth learn to ask questions, and many questions must be asked regarding the holiday of Easter.

Is it truly the day when Jesus arose from the dead? Where did all of the strange customs come from, which have nothing to do with the resurrection of our Saviour?

The purpose of this tract is to help answer those questions, and to help those who seek truth to draw their own conclusions.

The first thing we must understand is that professing Christians were not the only ones who celebrated a festival called “Easter.”

“Ishtar”, which is pronounced “Easter” was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called “Tammuz”, who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god.

In those ancient times, there was a man named Nimrod, who was the grandson of one of Noah’s son named Ham.

Ham had a son named Cush who married a woman named Semiramis.Cush and Semiramis then had a son named him “Nimrod.”

After the death of his father, Nimrod married his own mother and became a powerful King.

The Bible tells of of this man, Nimrod, in Genesis 10:8-10 as follows: “And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.”

Nimrod became a god-man to the people and Semiramis, his wife and mother, became the powerful Queen of ancient Babylon.

Nimrod was eventually killed by an enemy, and his body was cut in pieces and sent to various parts of his kingdom.

Semiramis had all of the parts gathered, except for one part that could not be found.

That missing part was his reproductive organ. Semiramis claimed that Nimrod could not come back to life without it and told the people of Babylon that Nimrod had ascended to the sun and was now to be called “Baal”, the sun god.

Queen Semiramis also proclaimed that Baal would be present on earth in the form of a flame, whether candle or lamp, when used in worship.

Semiramis was creating a mystery religion, and with the help of Satan, she set herself up as a goddess.

Semiramis claimed that she was immaculately conceived.

She taught that the moon was a goddess that went through a 28 day cycle and ovulated when full.

She further claimed that she came down from the moon in a giant moon egg that fell into the Euphrates River.

This was to have happened at the time of the first full moon after the spring equinox.

Semiramis became known as “Ishtar” which is pronounced “Easter”, and her moon egg became known as “Ishtar’s” egg.”

Ishtar soon became pregnant and claimed that it was the rays of the sun-god Baal that caused her to conceive.

The son that she brought forth was named Tammuz.

Tammuz was noted to be especially fond of rabbits, and they became sacred in the ancient religion, because Tammuz was believed to be the son of the sun-god, Baal. Tammuz, like his supposed father, became a hunter.

The day came when Tammuz was killed by a wild pig.

Queen Ishtar told the people that Tammuz was now ascended to his father, Baal, and that the two of them would be with the worshippers in the sacred candle or lamp flame as Father, Son and Spirit.

Ishtar, who was now worshipped as the “Mother of God and Queen of Heaven”, continued to build her mystery religion.

The queen told the worshippers that when Tammuz was killed by the wild pig, some of his blood fell on the stump of an evergreen tree, and the stump grew into a full new tree overnight. This made the evergreen tree sacred by the blood of Tammuz.

She also proclaimed a forty day period of time of sorrow each year prior to the anniversary of the death of Tammuz.

During this time, no meat was to be eaten.

Worshippers were to meditate upon the sacred mysteries of Baal and Tammuz, and to make the sign of the “T” in front of their hearts as they worshipped.

They also ate sacred cakes with the marking of a “T” or cross on the top.

Every year, on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, a celebration was made.

It was Ishtar’s Sunday and was celebrated with rabbits and eggs.

Ishtar also proclaimed that because Tammuz was killed by a pig, that a pig must be eaten on that Sunday.

By now, the readers of this tract should have made the connection that paganism has infiltrated the contemporary “Christian” churches, and further study indicates that this paganism came in by way of the Roman Catholic System.

The truth is that Easter has nothing whatsoever to do with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We also know that Easter can be as much as three weeks away from the Passover, because the pagan holiday is always set as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.

Some have wondered why the word “Easter” is in the the King James Bible.

It is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians.

The true Passover and pagan Easter sometimes coincide, but in some years, they are a great distance apart.

So much more could be said, and we have much more information for you, if you are a seeker of the truth.

We know that the Bible tells us in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

The truth is that the forty days of Lent, eggs, rabbits, hot cross buns and the Easter ham have everything to do with the ancient pagan religion of Mystery Babylon. These are all antichrist activities!

Satan is a master deceiver, and has filled the lives of well-meaning, professing Christians with idolatry.

These things bring the wrath of God upon children of disobedience, who try to make pagan customs of Baal worship Christian.

You must answer for your activities and for what you teach your children.

These customs of Easter honor Baal, who is also Satan, and is still worshipped as the “Rising Sun” and his house is the “House of the Rising Sun.”

How many churches have “sunrise services” on Ishtar’s day and face the rising sun in the East?

How many will use colored eggs and rabbit stories, as they did in ancient Babylon…?”

Poor Gregory Hart…

He crossed the river.
He crossed the bridge.
He crossed the trackz.

image

Where there be monsters…

And Greg Hart did not have what the girlz call –

“Safe Passage”.

image

And this is all hypothesized with the deepest sympathy, loving regard and, actually – Hope.

Because in the end…

Nothing sinks.

None of us.

From birth to death and hopefully beyond…

Every one of us – floats.

Even in the darkness.

“the double dotted i”

“…Diaeresis is a method of definition based on partitition which occurs in the Platonic dialogues Phaedrus, Sophist, Statesman and Philebus…

It is a means of reaching a definition by which a large group is continually divided into relatively equal parts until the definition has been found. For example, in the Sophist (§235B), the Eleatic Stranger is examining illusions, which consist of words and “visual objects.”

By using diaeresis, he divides visual objects, by which it becomes clear he means works of art, into two categories: eikastikē technē, the art of making likenesses or eikones; and phantastikē technē, the art of creating illusionary appearances. The Stranger is much more fond of the former…the latter are only created to produce an appearance of beauty.

The diaeresis and the umlaut are diacritics marking two distinct phonological phenomena.

The diaeresis represents the phenomenon also known as diaeresis, or hiatus, in which a vowel letter is not pronounced as part of a digraph or diphthong. The diaeresis indicates that two adjoining letters that would normally form a digraph and be pronounced as one are instead to be read as separate vowels in two syllables.

The diaeresis indicates that a vowel should be pronounced apart from the letter that precedes it. For example, in the spelling coöperate, the diaeresis reminds the reader that the word has four syllables co-op-er-ate, not three, *coop-er-ate… In British English this usage has been obsolete for many years, and in US English, although it persisted for longer, it is also now considered archaic…”

…And especially in the light…
